“I recently went through a rather lengthy period of un- and under-employment. When I was initially downsized, I didn’t know of CC and did not immediately consider working with them as a fast track to re-employment. Instead I did what most people do in this situation – relying on my many years of industry experience, I followed the traditional approach of looking for my next challenge by applying for every suitable vacancy and trying to network, something that did not come naturally to me.
